Whether through her efforts as an adaptive ski instructor for individuals and the Special Olympics, or as a firefighter in Colorado, Alaska, Kim has been committed to her community, including supporting underserved populations. A nationally certified EMT, Kim is presently a member of the Neptune City Fire Department’s Fire Police, Community Emergency Response Team, and serves on the Veterans and Drug Alliance Committees.
Kim’s academic journey reflects her pursuit of excellence and leadership. She organized events benefiting children, seniors, and underserved communities at the University of Hawaii, and she was further recognized with the USA Today Academic Achievement Scholarship.
Presently a Loss Control Analyst in the insurance industry, Kim has been a successful entrepreneur in the wine and travel sectors. Having worked in the service industry and been a business owner, she brings valuable insights into financial management and prioritization.
Motivated by her belief in community participation and volunteerism, her lifelong passion for public service uniquely positions her to make a meaningful impact as a councilmember. Her integrity, compassion, and inclusivity will help her enhance government transparency, advocate for responsible budgeting, and to amplify the voices of the community for the betterment of the community.
